Salesforce Pricing 2026: Free Suite to Sales Cloud Max
Salesforce costs $0 to $550 per user a month in 2026. Every suite and Sales Cloud edition, the support and AI add-ons, and what 5 or 10 users pay a year.

For a small business, Salesforce costs $0 for up to 2 users on Free Suite, then $25 per user a month on Starter Suite and $100 per user a month on Pro Suite, billed annually. A 5-person team pays $1,500 a year on Starter Suite or $6,000 on Pro Suite. The full Sales Cloud editions run from $195 to $550 per user a month.
Every price here was read on Salesforce's Sales Cloud pricing page and its small business pricing page on 19 October 2026. Our read: the two suites are priced to compete with HubSpot and Pipedrive, while Core, Advanced and Max are enterprise software with enterprise add-ons, and the jump between the two groups is where most small teams overspend.
| Plan | Price per user a month | Billing | Who it is built for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Suite | $0 | No contract, no card, 2 user licenses | A founder and one colleague replacing a spreadsheet |
| Starter Suite | $25 | Monthly or annual | A small team that wants sales, service and email marketing in one CRM |
| Pro Suite | $100 | Annual, contract required | A growing team that needs quoting, forecasting and customization |
| Sales Cloud Core | $195 | Annual | A sales org that wants forecasting, conversation intelligence and Premier Success included |
| Sales Cloud Advanced | $395 | Annual | Teams that need enhanced security, backup and more AI |
| Sales Cloud Max | $550 | Annual | Teams that want Agentforce for Sales included, with 2.75M Flex Credits a year |
Toolradar data: Salesforce's entry plan ranks joint 11th of 34 sales tools that publish a per-user entry price on Toolradar, the software directory we run, against a median of $30, and Salesforce is listed as an alternative to 52 other tools, as of October 2026. Its entry price, in other words, is close to the market rate; the add-ons are where it pulls away.
What does the free Salesforce plan include?
Free Suite is a real free CRM, capped at two users. Salesforce's Free CRM page describes sales, marketing and service tools that set up in minutes, built-in AI to draft emails and summarize records, no contract and no credit card. It has no expiry date, on one condition stated in Salesforce's FAQ: someone logs in at least once every 60 days.
The two-user cap is the line that decides most purchases. A third person moves the account to Starter Suite or Pro Suite, so Free Suite fits a founder and an assistant, not a sales team. For tools that stay free with a larger team, our best free CRM software list compares the caps side by side.
Starter Suite or Pro Suite: which one does a small team need?
Starter Suite covers the CRM basics a small team actually uses day to day: lead, account, contact and opportunity management, built-in sales flows and lead routing, automatic syncing of emails and events, and email marketing with analytics. It is the only paid Salesforce plan you can pay for month to month, which makes it the low-risk way to find out whether your team will use a CRM at all before you sign anything longer.
Pro Suite costs four times as much, and the reason to pay it is process. It adds sales quoting and forecasting, more customization and automation, and access to AgentExchange, Salesforce's app marketplace. It is billed annually under a contract, so a 10-person team commits to $12,000 a year before anyone logs in.
Two details on the comparison grid change the Pro Suite math. API access, which most teams need to connect a billing or support tool, is a separate per-user charge on Pro Suite (see the add-on table below). And Premier Support, the plan with 24/7 help for business-stopping issues, is an add-on rather than included.
Both suites include a Slack Free workspace connected to the CRM, both note that transaction fees apply to their commerce features, and both can be tried free; the Starter Suite trial runs 30 days for up to 10 users.
Core, Advanced and Max: the Sales Cloud editions
Above the suites, Salesforce sells three Sales Cloud editions, all billed annually. They are priced for companies with a dedicated sales operations function, and the feature lists read that way: most of what they add is forecasting, security and AI rather than better day-to-day contact management.
- Core at $195 per user a month includes everything in Pro Suite plus advanced pipeline management and forecasting, opportunity scoring, conversation intelligence, APIs, Slack Business+, Tableau Next and the Premier Success plan.
- Advanced at $395 adds enhanced security, more AI, expanded data capacity, Sales Programs, and Backup and Recover, Archive, Data Detect and Security Center.
- Max at $550 adds Salesforce's full AI suite: Agentforce for Sales and Agentforce Coworker, Salesforce Spiff for commissions, Sales Planning, Salesforce Maps, Slack Enterprise+ and 2.75 million Flex Credits per org per year.
Salesforce's Agentforce pricing page lists Max as its Agentforce edition for sales, with the Agentforce add-on included. On Core and Advanced, Agentforce for Sales is available to buy separately.
What Salesforce's add-ons cost
The edition price is rarely the whole bill. These are the published add-on rates that matter most for a sales team.
| Add-on | Published price | Where it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Premier Success Plan | 30% of net license fees | Add-on for the suites; included in Core |
| Web Services API | $25 per user a month | Pro Suite |
| Agentforce add-on for Sales | $125 per user a month | Core and Advanced; included in Max |
| Agentforce User License | $5 per user a month, plus Flex Credits | Consumption model |
| Flex Credits | $500 per 100,000 credits | Pay per agent action |
Premier Success is the add-on that surprises small buyers. At 30% of license fees, it adds $3,600 a year to a 10-person Pro Suite contract, which is more than that team would pay for Starter Suite outright.
Flex Credits price AI by the action. Salesforce counts a standard Agentforce action as 20 credits and a voice action as 30, so at list price each standard action costs $0.10. That makes Max's bundled 2.75 million credits worth $13,750 a year at list, or 137,500 standard actions, and unused credits do not roll over into the next term.
What Salesforce costs a 5- or 10-person team
These scenarios use list prices on annual billing and are our arithmetic, not quotes. HubSpot figures come from HubSpot's Sales Hub pricing page and Pipedrive figures from Pipedrive's pricing page, both read on 19 October 2026.
| Plan | 5 users, year one | 10 users, year one |
|---|---|---|
| Salesforce Starter Suite | $1,500 | $3,000 |
| Salesforce Pro Suite | $6,000 | $12,000 |
| Salesforce Pro Suite with Premier Success | $7,800 | $15,600 |
| Salesforce Sales Cloud Core | $11,700 | $23,400 |
| Salesforce Core with the Agentforce add-on | $19,200 | $38,400 |
| Salesforce Sales Cloud Max | $33,000 | $66,000 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Professional, with $1,500 onboarding | $6,900 | $12,300 |
| Pipedrive Growth, $468 per seat a year | $2,340 | $4,680 |
| Pipedrive Premium, $708 per seat a year | $3,540 | $7,080 |
For a 10-person team, Pro Suite and HubSpot Sales Hub Professional land within $300 of each other in year one, before Salesforce's support add-on. HubSpot charges its onboarding fee once, so from year two it costs $1,200 less than Pro Suite on the same seats. Pipedrive undercuts both by a wide margin if you need a pipeline tool rather than a platform.
The Core row shows the step most growing teams should question. Moving 10 users from Pro Suite to Core nearly doubles the bill, and Core with the Agentforce add-on costs more than three times the Pro Suite contract. Per user, Core plus the add-on comes to $320 a month, well under Max's list price, so the Max premium buys Advanced's security features, the bundled Flex Credits, Spiff, Maps and Slack Enterprise+ rather than the agent itself.

Costs the pricing page does not headline
- Annual contracts above Starter. Pro Suite and every Sales Cloud edition are billed annually, so headcount changes during the year do not lower the bill.
- Support at 30%. Premier Success is priced as a share of license fees, so it grows with every seat and every edition upgrade.
- API access on Pro Suite. Connecting other systems through the API is billed per user on top of the suite price, which adds $3,000 a year for 10 users.
- AI on consumption. Agentforce outside Max draws on Flex Credits or per-conversation pricing, and credits expire at the end of the term.
- Implementation. Salesforce points buyers to its professional services and certified partners for setup; their fees are quoted separately and are not on the pricing page.
Is Salesforce worth it for a small business?
Salesforce is worth it for a small business that expects to grow into custom processes, because Starter Suite sits near the market median for an entry CRM seat and the upgrade path runs all the way to enterprise. It is a weaker buy for a team that only needs a clean pipeline, where Pipedrive's Growth and Premium plans cost less than Pro Suite at every team size, and for a team that wants marketing automation in the same contract, where HubSpot's bundles are simpler to price.
Our HubSpot pricing and Pipedrive pricing breakdowns cover the alternatives tier by tier, and HubSpot vs Pipedrive compares those two directly.
