techpresso.co is the home of the Techpresso newsletter. Besides the archive of past issues it publishes three kinds of pages: news posts on the day's tech and AI stories, software reviews and buying guides for the tools tech teams use, and a statistics page built from our own news data.

Who is responsible
Techpresso is published by Dupple, an independent media company founded by Louis Corneloup in Paris in 2023. Pages are published under the byline of Louis Corneloup, Dupple's founder, and corrections go to his address. The Techpresso newsletter and this site are written for engineers, founders, executives and operators at tech companies.
How a page is made
- Brief. Each review and guide starts from a brief that names the question it answers, the products it covers and, before any writing, the verified facts it may use: plan names, prices, billing basis, free plan or trial, each with the URL and date it was read.
- Research on first-party sources. A news post is only as good as the document behind it. Techpresso news posts link the company announcement, the regulatory filing or the outlet that broke the story. When a story rests on an SEC filing, the post uses the filing's own terms: a warrant is called a warrant.
- Drafting with AI assistance. Drafts are produced with AI writing assistance from the brief. The draft may not contradict the verified facts anywhere: summary, table, product cards or FAQ.
- Fact-check. Every price, plan, version, feature and statistic in the draft is checked again against a first-party source: the vendor's own page, or our own data. A fact that cannot be confirmed that way is removed, not kept because it was already there.
- Quality checks. An automated check must pass before a page is committed: house style (no filler words), structure (sections, comparison table, FAQ), internal and source links, dated data points, and no leftovers from research such as a page that failed to load. The page is then reviewed against a written quality bar: is the answer in the first paragraph, do the numbers match everywhere on the page, does each pick say when to choose it over the others.
- Publish and date. The page shows when it was last updated. The publication date never changes after the fact; the updated date moves only when the content genuinely changed.
Sources and prices
For the business software reviewed here (CRM, PDF editors, form builders, phone systems, website builders and more), prices come from the vendor's US pricing page. Some vendors serve a different list to European visitors; when that happens the page gives the US list and, where it matters, names the European prices separately rather than mixing the two.
- Prices come only from the vendor's own pricing page, and review pages state the month they were checked or last updated (for example "checked September 2026"). Pages written or refreshed under the current process also link the exact vendor page the numbers were read on; older pages get those links when they are refreshed.
- Currencies are shown as the vendor lists them. A price published in euros is never converted to dollars; if a vendor publishes only a regional list, the page says so.
- No price is guessed. A plan with no published price is shown as "Custom" or "Contact sales". When a page gives a ballpark for such a plan, it is a third-party figure labelled as an estimate with its source named, never presented as the vendor's price. 1 of this site's 59 reviews currently cite Vendr contract data this way.
- Products are checked to be alive and current on their own site before they are listed; features are taken from the vendor's documentation or changelog, not from other reviews.

Links to our own sites and social networks are not counted.
How we use AI
AI writing assistance produces first drafts from a brief that already holds the verified facts, and helps with structure and editing. It is not a source: no price, plan, statistic or quote on techpresso.co is published because a model said so. We do not claim hands-on testing we did not do: Techpresso does not run a test lab. Our pages compare vendor documentation, pricing pages, changelogs and public user reports.
Updates
A page is refreshed when its prices are older than 60 days, when a product it names is discontinued, renamed or acquired, or when a reader or vendor shows us it is wrong. A refresh re-checks every price and product status on the vendor's page. The most recent review update on this site is dated September 25, 2026. Substantive fixes are listed on our corrections page.
Independence and money
The Techpresso newsletter is free and paid for by sponsors. Each issue carries at most three sponsors, and every sponsored section is labelled. The site is also funded by affiliate commissions and by vendors who pay to be listed in some guides. Some outbound links to products are affiliate links: if you buy, we may earn a commission. The product links our page templates generate carry rel="sponsored".
Paid placements are disclosed on the page. When a vendor pays to be listed in a guide, the guide names it in a disclosure at the top of the page. A paid placement can set that vendor's position in the guide, and the vendor may write or approve the text of its own entry. Some products are also on a list because they have an affiliate program with us; they get the same card as every other product, with prices from their own pricing page and their cons.
