AI Statistics 2026
AI statistics 2026 from Dupple's live radar: 630,610 news articles processed, 358,342 stories clustered, the most-covered AI labs, plus Toolradar benchmarks.
Last updated August 18, 2026
Dupple's tech radars processed 630,610 news articles in 2026, about 2,750 every day, up from 275,734 in all of 2025, and auto-clustered them into 358,342 distinct stories from roughly 800 sources. That jump, more than double the prior year's volume, is the real 2026 headline: AI and tech news is now arriving faster than any newsroom can read by hand.
Most "AI statistics 2026" pages recycle the same third-party market-size guesses. This one does not. Every figure below is read from Dupple's own radar pipeline, the Techpresso editorial database, and live Toolradar directory data, measured on August 18, 2026, and free to cite with attribution. Numbers are refreshed as the pipeline runs.

How this data was measured
These figures are read directly from Dupple's production radar pipeline, the Techpresso editorial database, and the live Toolradar directory on August 18, 2026. Radar counts (articles, clusters, sources, and headline keyword matches) are title-keyword based, so they undercount true mentions in article bodies. Techpresso vertical counts use the 127,896 story clusters tagged to the Techpresso newsletter in 2026 as the base. Tool, rating, and review figures use Toolradar's published catalog, and "added in 2026" is measured by when a tool entered the directory, not when its vendor was founded. Review totals aggregate third-party platform reviews, not Toolradar's own.
