HubSpot Pricing 2026: Seats, Hubs and Onboarding Fees
HubSpot pricing in 2026: free for 2 users, Starter from $7 a seat on a promo, Sales Hub Pro at $90 a seat plus onboarding, and Marketing Hub Pro from $800 a month.

HubSpot is free for up to 2 users, then $7 a seat per month for the Starter Customer Platform on annual billing under a limited-time offer for new customers, against a $20 list price. Sales Hub and Service Hub Professional cost $90 a seat per month billed annually, plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee. Marketing Hub Professional starts at $800 a month with 3 seats and a $3,000 onboarding fee.
Every price on this page was read on HubSpot's US pricing pages on 19 October 2026: the Free and Starter page, Sales Hub pricing, Service Hub pricing, Marketing Hub pricing and HubSpot's price calculator. The short version: HubSpot is cheap to start and expensive to grow into, because the jump from Starter to Professional multiplies the seat price and adds a mandatory onboarding fee.
Toolradar data: HubSpot is the most-listed alternative among the 505 CRM tools on Toolradar, the software directory we run, and is listed as an alternative to 148 other tools as of October 2026. Almost every CRM buyer prices it, which is why the seat math below matters. Its record is HubSpot on Toolradar.

What does the free HubSpot CRM include?
The free plan covers up to 2 users with no credit card, and it bundles the free tools of every hub: marketing, sales, service, content, data and revenue. It is a genuine CRM for a founder and one colleague, but it carries HubSpot branding on marketing emails, live chat and meeting links, and a single personal meeting link per user.
The 2-user cap is the limit that matters. A third salesperson moves the account to Starter, which is where the per-seat bill begins.
How much is HubSpot Starter?
Starter is now sold mainly as the Starter Customer Platform, one seat price that includes Marketing, Sales, Service, Content and Data Hub Starter. HubSpot advertises "save up to 65% on Starter", and the promo seat is exactly that discount off the list price, offered to new customers for a limited time on annual billing.
Starter removes HubSpot branding from email marketing and live chat, adds simple marketing automation, ad management and calling, and includes 1,000 marketing contacts and 500 HubSpot Credits a month for the AI agents. Budget the list price as your worst case for later years, since HubSpot describes the $7 rate as a limited-time offer rather than a permanent price.
Sales Hub and Service Hub Professional: the real jump
Professional is where HubSpot's price structure changes. Sales Hub Professional costs $90 a seat per month on annual billing, or $100 if you pay monthly on an annual commitment, and adds forecasting, sequences, conversation intelligence and deal plans to Starter. Service Hub Professional is priced the same.
Both carry a required one-time Professional Onboarding fee, which HubSpot prints beneath the price rather than in it. HubSpot's own calculator shows an estimated $2,580 to get started with a single Sales Hub Professional seat: $1,080 for a year of the seat plus the onboarding fee.
Enterprise costs $150 a seat per month and adds deal splits, deal journey analytics, lead form routing, pipeline approvals and a standard sandbox account, with a $3,500 onboarding fee. It earns its price for a sales organization with territories and approval chains; a ten-person team usually does not need it.
Marketing Hub: priced by the account, not the seat
Marketing Hub Professional is priced per account rather than per seat: its monthly base already includes 3 core seats and 2,000 marketing contacts, so a small marketing team pays the same as a solo marketer. Extra core seats start at $45 a month, and the onboarding fee is $3,000. It adds the marketing studio, social media tools, video creation and nurture and content agents on top of Starter.
Enterprise starts at $3,600 a month with 5 core seats and 10,000 marketing contacts, adds multi-touch revenue attribution, customer journey analytics and email approvals, and carries a $7,000 onboarding fee. Marketing contacts are the planning limit on both tiers: each includes a fixed number, so check the allowance against your list size before you buy, not after your list grows. For context, Dupple's own newsletters, Techpresso included, are sent on beehiiv rather than HubSpot.
What HubSpot costs in year one: five scenarios
We built five first-year budgets from HubSpot's printed prices, on annual billing, including the one-time onboarding fee where one applies.
| Team | Plan | Seats and fees | First-year cost | Year two |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3-person startup | Starter Customer Platform, promo | 3 promo seats | $252 | $252 at promo, $720 at list |
| 5-rep sales team | Sales Hub Professional | 5 seats, annual billing, plus onboarding | $6,900 | $5,400 |
| 5-rep sales team, monthly payments | Sales Hub Professional | 5 seats at $100 on annual commitment, plus onboarding | $7,500 | $6,000 |
| 10-rep sales org | Sales Hub Enterprise | 10 seats at $150, plus onboarding | $21,500 | $18,000 |
| 5-person marketing team | Marketing Hub Professional | Base with 3 seats, 2 extra seats at $45, plus onboarding | $13,680 | $10,680 |
The Starter-to-Professional step is the number to plan around. Five sales seats cost $35 a month on the Starter promo and $450 a month on Professional, before the onboarding fee. That is why many teams stay on Starter longer than its feature list suggests, and why the move to Professional should be timed to a real need, such as sequences or forecasting, rather than to growth alone.
Paying monthly on an annual commitment costs 11% more on Sales Hub Professional than paying the year up front. It is still a 12-month contract, so the monthly option buys cash flow, not flexibility.
Other HubSpot fees and offers
- Onboarding fees are one-time and required on every Professional and Enterprise plan, as listed in the price table; Starter has none, which is a large part of its appeal.
- HubSpot Credits fund the AI agents: 500 a month on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise.
- Revenue Hub lists at $95 a seat per month on Professional and $140 on Enterprise; new Sales Hub buyers are offered it at $57 and $98 a seat on annual billing.
- Add-ons such as a custom properties limit increase, listed at $220 a month for 500 more properties, are priced separately in the calculator.
Is HubSpot worth the price?
HubSpot is worth its Starter price for a small team that wants marketing, sales and service in one record, and the free plan gives two users every hub's free tools at no cost. The value question arrives at Professional, where seat prices rise more than tenfold from the Starter promo and onboarding adds four figures. Teams that only need a sales pipeline should compare it with per-seat CRMs before committing.

Frequently asked questions
How much does HubSpot cost per month?
HubSpot is free for up to 2 users. The Starter Customer Platform costs $7 a seat per month on annual billing under a limited-time offer, against a $20 list price. Sales Hub Professional costs $90 a seat per month billed annually, and Marketing Hub Professional starts at $800 a month with 3 seats, based on HubSpot's pricing pages in October 2026.
Is HubSpot CRM really free?
Yes, for up to 2 users with no credit card. The free plan includes the free tools of every hub but keeps HubSpot branding and tight limits, such as one personal meeting link. A third user requires a paid Starter seat.
What is the HubSpot onboarding fee?
HubSpot charges a required one-time onboarding fee on Professional and Enterprise plans: $1,500 for Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional, $3,500 for their Enterprise tiers, $3,000 for Marketing Hub Professional and $7,000 for Marketing Hub Enterprise. Starter has no onboarding fee.
How much is HubSpot Sales Hub Professional for 5 users?
Five seats cost $450 a month on annual billing, or $5,400 a year, plus the onboarding fee, which makes $6,900 in the first year. Paying monthly on an annual commitment raises the seat price to $100, or $7,500 in year one.
Why is HubSpot Marketing Hub so expensive?
Marketing Hub Professional is priced per account, with 3 core seats and 2,000 marketing contacts, plus a $3,000 onboarding fee. The bill then grows with extra core seats from $45 a month, and the included marketing contacts set how large a list each tier is built for.
Does HubSpot offer monthly billing?
Starter can be paid monthly at the $20 list price per seat. Professional seats can be paid monthly, but on an annual commitment: Sales Hub Professional costs $100 a seat that way, about 11% more than paying the year up front.
