Claude Team Pricing 2026: 10-Seat Cost vs ChatGPT Business and Gemini

For 10 people billed yearly, Claude Team and ChatGPT Business tie at $2,400 a year, or $20 per seat a month. Gemini Enterprise Business costs $2,520 a year on its monthly rate, because Google lists it on monthly billing only. All three figures come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked on 10 October 2026.

Toolradar data: our AI assistants ranking, updated in October 2026, evaluated 1,538 tools, and ChatGPT holds first place on it. Every cost figure below comes from the vendors' own pages, not from that ranking.

What each team plan charges per seat

This page compares three team plans, each priced on the vendor's own page. Claude Team standard is $20 per seat a month billed yearly and $25 billed monthly, for 2 to 150 seats. ChatGPT Business uses the same two rates, with a minimum of two users. Gemini Enterprise Business starts at $21 per license a month, billed monthly, for up to 300 licenses. Product records sit on Toolradar for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.

Plan Per seat, billed yearly Per seat, billed monthly Seats allowed
Claude Team standard $20 $25 2 to 150
ChatGPT Business $20 $25 2 or more
Gemini Enterprise Business Not offered $21 Up to 300
Claude Team premium $100 $125 2 to 150

The per-seat rates only become a bill once you multiply them out. The scenario here is 10 standard seats for a full year. Claude Team standard billed yearly works out to the yearly rate times 10 seats times 12 months, or $2,400. ChatGPT Business matches that total at the same billing term. Gemini Enterprise Business is the only one of the three that cannot be billed yearly, so the monthly rate sets its 10-seat total, which the team table below shows.

Team size: 2, 5, 10 and 25 seats

The table repeats the same arithmetic at four team sizes. Claude and ChatGPT appear once because they price identically at every billing term.

Seats Claude Team or ChatGPT Business, billed yearly Same seats, billed monthly Gemini Enterprise Business, billed monthly
2 $480 $600 $504
5 $1,200 $1,500 $1,260
10 $2,400 $3,000 $2,520
25 $6,000 $7,500 $6,300

Per seat, the yearly Claude and ChatGPT rate saves $12 a year against Gemini's monthly rate. Monthly Gemini beats the monthly Claude and ChatGPT rate by $48 per seat a year. Which vendor is cheapest depends on whether the team is willing to commit to a year. For the same yearly-versus-monthly trade-off on a tool with a free tier, see Notion pricing for 10 members. Claude Team: one standard price, and premium seats for heavy users

Standard seats on Claude Team include Claude Code and more usage than Pro. The pricing page gives no multiple for the standard seat, so the only exact ratio it publishes is for premium: premium seats carry five times the usage of a standard seat, at $100 a month billed yearly or $125 billed monthly. The page also says Claude does not train on your content by default.

Premium only earns its price on the people who run into the limit. A team of 7 standard and 3 premium seats billed yearly costs $1,680 for the standard seats plus $3,600 for the premium ones, or $5,280 a year. Putting all 10 on premium would cost $12,000, which is why most teams should buy premium for two or three people at most.

Claude Pro is the personal plan, at $17 a month billed annually. Ten Pro seats billed yearly come to $2,040, or $360 less than Team standard. That $360 gap is the price of the team plan over personal seats. Pro is for one person, and Team is the plan Claude sells for a group of 2 to 150 people who need one account. For a writing-first team, best AI note-taking apps shows which tools keep notes next to an assistant.

ChatGPT Business: the same yearly rate, with the admin list spelled out

ChatGPT Business costs the same per-seat rates as Claude Team standard at each billing term, with two users as the minimum. Its plan description lists ChatGPT and Codex on desktop and mobile, larger cloud virtual machines, a dedicated workspace with admin controls, SAML SSO and MFA. It also says business data is not used for training by default.

The weak spot is the usage add-on. The plan lets a team extend its usage with ChatGPT credits, and the Business price table does not price those credits. A team that runs past its included usage has no published cost for the overage on that page, so budget a margin above the seat total. OpenAI's Plus is a personal plan priced below Business billed monthly. For what the app does day to day, see ChatGPT for productivity.

Gemini Enterprise Business: cheapest monthly, built around connectors

The Business tier is the cheaper of the two Gemini tiers priced here: $21 per user license a month, billed monthly, with up to 300 licenses. Standard and Plus are $30 per license a month with unlimited licenses, which comes to $3,600 for 10 seats a year. The Business plan includes the Gemini Enterprise app, Gemini Notebook for enterprises, secure connections to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, HubSpot and Jira, a no-code agent builder, and 25 GiB of pooled storage per license.

This is a work assistant wired into other tools, so read the feature list before the price. A team that only wants a chat seat for each person pays for connectors it may never use. If connectors are the real need, Zapier vs Make pricing shows what automation between tools costs on its own. Google's Workspace plans with Gemini in them are a separate product, and this comparison does not price them. The suite side is covered in Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365.

Where the order flips

Three things change the order.

  • Billing term. On monthly billing, Gemini Enterprise Business is the cheapest of the three at 10 seats, $2,520 against $3,000. On yearly billing, Claude Team and ChatGPT Business win by $120 a year.
  • Team size. At two seats, the yearly Claude or ChatGPT total is $480. Gemini on monthly billing costs $504 for the same two seats, so the gap is small at that size.
  • Heavy users. Three premium Claude seats cost $3,600 a year, more than the seven standard seats in the same team, which cost $1,680. Premium seats move the total faster than adding people does.

Hidden costs to budget

  • Monthly billing. Claude and ChatGPT both add $5 a seat a month when billed month to month. That is $60 per seat a year, or $600 for 10 seats.
  • Claude Enterprise. The page lists an annual seat fee plus usage at API rates, so the seat fee is not the whole bill.
  • No yearly rate for Gemini. Google lists monthly billing only for Business and for Standard and Plus. A full year therefore means 12 monthly payments.

Which plan fits which team

Dimension Winner Why
Yearly cost, 10 seats Tie: Claude Team and ChatGPT Business Same total at every seat count
Monthly cost, 10 seats Gemini Enterprise Business Lowest of the three on monthly billing
Heavy users Claude Team Premium seats carry five times the standard usage
Admin features named on the plan ChatGPT Business Admin controls, SAML SSO and MFA
Connectors into other tools Gemini Enterprise Business Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, HubSpot and Jira

Pick Claude Team when each person needs a seat for writing and coding, and a few people need the larger allowance. Pick ChatGPT Business when admin controls, SAML SSO and MFA matter most, since its plan description names them. Pick Gemini Enterprise Business when the team needs its work tools connected and can pay by the month. For most teams of 10 that will bill yearly, the price is a tie between the first two, so the features decide it. Teams that also buy shared tools can compare best team chat apps, Slack vs Microsoft Teams and best knowledge base software before they decide.

FAQ

How much does Claude Team cost for 10 people?

Claude Team standard costs $2,400 a year for 10 seats billed yearly. Billed monthly, the same 10 seats cost $3,000 a year. Premium seats cost $100 a seat a month billed yearly, and they make sense only for heavy users.

Is Claude Team cheaper than ChatGPT Business?

No. At the standard seat they match: the same per-seat price at each billing term, with a two-user minimum. Claude Team adds a premium tier for heavy users, while ChatGPT Business adds ChatGPT credits, which the Business table does not price.

Does Gemini Enterprise Business cost less than Claude Team?

Only on monthly billing. Gemini Enterprise Business is $21 per license a month, so 10 seats come to a lower total than Claude Team standard billed monthly. On yearly billing Claude Team wins, because Gemini has no yearly option.

Is there a free Claude Team plan?

No. Team starts at two seats. The free plan is for one person, with Sonnet and Haiku, up to five projects and no Claude Code.

Does Claude Team include Claude Code?

Yes. The pricing page includes Claude Code on both the standard and the premium Team seats.

Can Gemini Enterprise Business be billed yearly?

Not on the terms Google lists. Google shows monthly billing only for Business, so a full year means 12 monthly payments per seat.

How we checked

We read Claude's pricing page, the ChatGPT Business price table in OpenAI's developer documentation, and Google's Gemini subscriptions page on 10 October 2026. The Claude and Gemini figures are US dollar prices on those pages. OpenAI's Business line has no currency label, but its Pro plans are labelled in US dollars, so we read the Business figures in dollars too. Every total is the per-seat rate times the seat count times 12 months, at list price and without promotions. Google's Workspace plans with Gemini are not in this comparison.
