Notion Pricing 2026: Every Plan and Real Cost for a 10-Seat Team
Notion Free, Plus and Business prices for a 10-person team billed yearly, with the AI cost, limits and the ClickUp and Slite comparison. Checked 10 October 2026.

For a 10-person team billed yearly, Notion Plus is the cheapest paid Notion plan at $1,200 a year, or $10 per member a month, as listed on Notion's pricing page on 10 October 2026. The free plan costs $0, but its block limit applies as soon as a second member joins. The plan cards put full Notion AI only in Business, which costs $2,400 a year for the same 10 seats.
Notion's pricing page can default to euro prices. The dollar figures here come from its US price data. The scenario is 10 paid members billed yearly for 12 months. Each cost is the per-member monthly rate multiplied by 10 members and 12 months. Guests are free, so external collaborators do not add to the bill.
The arithmetic for 10 members
Plus works out to $10 x 10 x 12, or $1,200 a year. Business works out to $20 x 10 x 12, or $2,400. Billed monthly, the same two plans cost $1,440 and $2,880. Yearly billing cuts each monthly rate by about 17%, so the annual rate is the one to compare before you decide.
What each Notion plan includes
Notion has four plans: Free, Plus, Business and a quote-only Enterprise tier. The table shows what each adds and where its limits sit. The prices above and in the comparison below carry the cost.
| Plan | What it adds | Limits that matter |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Unlimited pages for one person | Pages and blocks are limited once a workspace has 2+ members |
| Plus | Unlimited collaborative blocks, unlimited file uploads, custom forms and sites | Notion AI is a limited trial only; 30-day page history |
| Business | Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes, Enterprise Search (beta), SAML SSO, granular database permissions, private teamspaces | Full Notion AI; 90-day page history |
| Enterprise | Top tier above Business, sold by quote | Contact sales; no public price |
Notion's own page lists the Free plan as unlimited for individuals and limited for two or more members. That single line decides most team choices. A solo user never meets the cap, but a two-person team does. Teams that also want an offline, local-first option can compare the trade-offs in our Notion vs Obsidian breakdown.
Free: where the limit starts
Notion Free suits one person who wants a private workspace. Uploads stop at 5 MB per file, and page history reaches back only 7 days. Plus lifts the file limit to about 5 GB per file and keeps history for 30 days. If the team's files outgrow the workspace, our best cloud storage for business guide compares where they should live. A team that needs to recover last month's version of a shared doc is already past the free tier. Our best free note-taking apps list shows which free tools hold up for a solo writer.
Plus or Business: the AI step is the big decision
The gap between Plus and Business, multiplied across 10 people, is the price step to full AI on Notion's plan cards. Business buys the AI package: Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes and Enterprise Search (beta).
Plus gets a limited trial of Notion AI, not the full version. A team that wants AI in its daily work is paying for Business whether or not it uses every feature. A team that only needs shared docs and databases pays half as much on Plus. The question is whether those AI features replace work you would otherwise pay someone to do. Our best AI note-taking apps roundup covers tools built AI-first, for comparison.
Custom Agents bill on credits
Custom Agents sit outside the seat price. Notion describes them as free to try, then $10 per 1,000 monthly Notion credits. A team that runs agents every day will see that line grow with use. The pricing page does not say how many credits a single agent run uses, so run a test month before you commit a budget to agents.
Three tools at 10 seats, billed yearly
| Tool and plan | Per user a month, billed yearly | Cost for 10 users a year | Full AI at this tier | Free option |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ClickUp Unlimited | $7 | $840 | No. Brain AI is priced separately at $9 per user | Free Forever: unlimited members, 60MB storage, no Gantt charts |
| Notion Plus | $10 | $1,200 | Limited trial only | Free: block limit for 2+ members |
| Slite Basic | $10 | $1,200 | 30 AI questions and 30 AI edits per seat a month | 14-day trial, no free plan listed |
| Notion Business | $20 | $2,400 | Yes: Notion Agent and AI Meeting Notes | Notion Free: block limit for 2+ members |
| Slite Pro | $20 | $2,400 | Slite Agent with 50 credits per seat a month, unlimited AI edits | 14-day trial |
All prices are US dollars, read on each vendor's pricing page as of October 2026 (10 October). ClickUp lists Brain AI at $9 per user without a billing period, so the combined ClickUp figure below assumes the same yearly basis.
ClickUp: the lowest paid price, with AI sold apart
ClickUp's Unlimited plan is the lowest paid option in this comparison, at $840 a year for 10 users. It includes Gantt charts, which the Free Forever plan leaves out, so a team planning dated work pays from the first paid tier. Billed monthly, the same plan costs 43% more. Our ClickUp review covers the product itself.
Brain AI is listed at $9 per user a month, without a billing period. The pricing page does not say whether that stacks on top of Unlimited. If it does, the AI version costs $840 plus $1,080, or $1,920 a year for 10 users. That is $480 less than Notion Business, but this page does not compare what the two AI products do, so the saving only counts if the features cover the same work.
Slite: AI on every paid tier, no monthly price
Slite includes AI on both paid tiers. Basic, billed yearly, includes 30 AI search questions per seat and 30 AI edits per user each month. Pro adds the Slite Agent with 50 monthly credits per seat and unlimited AI edits. At 10 seats, Basic lands at the same yearly total as Notion Plus, and Pro matches Notion Business.
The catch is that Slite lists no monthly price and no free plan. A team that wants to test the product gets a 14-day trial, then has to buy a yearly plan. Teams that keep their chat tools next to a wiki can check our best team chat apps roundup while they decide.
How billing and team size change the gap
Billing basis changes the gap. Billed monthly, Notion Plus rises by $240 a year and ClickUp Unlimited rises by $360, so ClickUp stays cheaper but the gap narrows from $360 to $240.
Team size matters too. For one person, Notion Plus costs $120 a year and ClickUp Unlimited costs $84. Both free plans cost $0 for a solo user, and Notion Free's limits start to bite once a second person joins, so the real comparison begins at two seats. The project management software pricing compared guide shows how the same 10-user scenario looks across seven tools, and our best project management software guide ranks them by fit.
If the team needs full AI, the three options sit within $480 of each other, provided Brain AI stacks on ClickUp. ClickUp with Brain AI comes to $1,920 a year. Notion Business and Slite Pro sit at the top of that range, and Slite Pro comes with credit limits.
Hidden costs to budget
- AI is a tier, not a toggle. On Notion's plan cards, moving from Plus to Business doubles the per-seat price, the same step Slite takes from Basic to Pro.
- Agents bill on credits. Custom Agents bill on top of seats, at the per-1,000 credit rate shown above.
- Refund windows are short. Notion refunds monthly plans in full within three days of signing up, and annual plans within 30 days. After that the year is paid.
- Monthly billing costs more. ClickUp's monthly rate is 43% above its yearly rate.
- Slite AI has per-seat caps. Basic's 30 AI questions a month per seat run out quickly for a heavy-search team.
