Who Joins Techpresso and Dupple's Newsletters? B2B Buyer Data from the Sign-Up Quiz
The quiz counts 9,381 decision-makers at 51+ companies, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026, across six newsletters. Techpresso alone is not split out.
Dupple's sign-up quiz covers new subscribers to all six of its newsletters, Techpresso included, and the quiz has no breakdown by newsletter. From 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 it recorded 130,965 answers (90 days), including 9,381 decision-makers at companies of 51 or more employees. Read them as network-wide counts.
Techpresso, Dupple's daily newsletter on tech and AI, has 790,000+ subscribers on its own list, while the six newsletters together hold 950,000+. The quiz reaches new subscribers who answered it, not either list as a whole. This page serves B2B (business-to-business) marketers weighing Techpresso against the network. The Lead Generation page explains the offer flow, the post-signup audience profile reports the network-wide quiz numbers, and the about page covers the site.

| All respondents | 130,965 | 28.6% | 28.0% | 7.2% (9,381) | 51.3% |
| Technology | 28,402 (21.7% of all) | 30.2% | 37.6% | 10.9% (3,089) | 42.7% |
| Marketing & Advertising | 13,451 | 35.6% | 19.0% | 6.2% (832) | 46.4% |
| E-commerce & Retail | 9,982 | 43.6% | 18.1% | 5.3% (528) | 50.8% |
| Finance & Banking | 9,135 | 30.3% | 42.6% | 13.3% (1,217) | 46.8% |
Table 1 counts respondents over 90 days, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026: n = 130,965 overall and 28,402 for Technology. Dupple data, read 3 Nov 2026.
Decision-maker: a respondent who picked Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP as job level. 51+: a company of 51 or more employees (the quiz sizes 51-200, 201-1000 and 1000+). The United States share uses respondents with a known country (77.1% of all).
Finance & Banking has the higher share of decision-makers at 51+ (13.3% of its 9,135 respondents), while Technology has more of them than the other three rows combined: 3,089, against 1,217 + 832 + 528 = 2,577. Both counts cover the same 90 days, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026.
Technology respondents
Job level runs Founder 18.9%, Manager 16.3%, Other 14.0%, Individual Contributor 13.0%, Freelancer 12.6%, Student or Intern 8.5%, Director/VP 7.7% and C-Suite 3.6%. Country is known for 78.6% of the group, and 42.7% of those respondents are in the United States. Company size splits at both ends: 31.0% chose the smallest option (one person) and 20.5% chose 1000+ employees. Founders weighing AI products can read the AI tools for founders review, and readers weighing customer relationship management (CRM) software can read the CRM software review.
Technology respondents who chose Executive & Leadership
Of the 3,767 Technology respondents who chose Executive & Leadership, 73.1% are decision-makers (2,752 people). Of those, 1,220 work at companies of 51 or more employees, which is 32.4% of the role and 39.5% of the 3,089 Technology decision-makers at 51+ companies (1,220 / 3,089).
Limiting company size to 201 or more leaves 1,031 decision-makers in that role over the same 90 days (27.4% of its 3,767 people). The Lead Generation for B2B SaaS guide covers the same group by buyer function.
Of the 3,089 Technology decision-makers at 51+ companies, 614 (19.9%, computed as 614 / 3,089) carry a non-consumer email domain in the 90 days ending 3 Nov 2026. Non-consumer email: the sign-up address is not on one of about 50 consumer mailbox providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and the like), so it is an upper bound for a work address.
What Technology respondents click
The rate is the share of offer-card views that produced a click, from 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026. Clicks are not leads here, and Dupple publishes no click-to-lead rate. Table 2 shows selected Technology rows, all with 500 or more people.
| Segment | People who saw cards | Card views | Clicks | Click rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Technology, all respondents | 7,808 | 53,591 | 3,734 | 7.0% |
| Technology, decision-makers | 2,483 | 16,732 | 1,117 | 6.7% |
| Technology, decision-makers at 51+ companies | 908 | 5,737 | 401 | 7.0% |
| Technology, United States | 3,694 | 27,362 | 1,358 | 5.0% |
| Technology, outside the United States | 4,105 | 26,217 | 2,376 | 9.1% |
| Technology, Executive & Leadership | 1,146 | 6,980 | 532 | 7.6% |
Table 2 counts card views and clicks over 30 days, 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026; the people column counts those who saw cards. Dupple data, read 3 Nov 2026.
Technology respondents clicked 7.0% of the cards they saw. Decision-makers at 51+ companies clicked the same 7.0%, so seniority alone barely moves the rate. Technology respondents in Executive & Leadership clicked 7.6%, the highest of the Technology role rows with 500 or more people.
Setting targeting rules for these buyers
Role, job level, industry and company size are the quiz questions. When an offer is limited to targeted readers, only readers who match its rules see it, and a reader who left a quiz question unanswered cannot match a rule that uses it. The other levers are country, device, which newsletter the reader joined, a weekdays-only schedule on US Eastern time and a list of email domains to exclude.
The Lead Generation page lists ten industries, eight job levels, fourteen roles and six company sizes. The two rules below show how those options combine.
Rule A conditions:
- Industry: Technology
- Role: Executive & Leadership
- Job level: Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP
- Company size: 51-200, 201-1000 or 1000+ employees
Rule A supply is 1,220 quiz answers (5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026), the decision-makers at 51+ companies in that role. Its job levels alone keep 2,752 of the 3,767 respondents, and company size 51+ then leaves 1,220.
Rule B conditions:
- Newsletter joined: Techpresso
- Job level: Director/VP or C-Suite
Rule B has no count, because the quiz has no breakdown by newsletter.
How an offer reaches a reader
A new subscriber joins one of Dupple's newsletters and picks options from fixed lists. An offer may then be shown after the quiz, inside the welcome email or in a later email sequence. Seeing an offer is not a sales-call request or a marketing-qualified lead (MQL) by itself.
Offers are priced on CPC (cost per click) or CPL (cost per lead) terms, and the Lead Generation page lists no price for either. The Lead Generation page sets out the flow, and the what counts as a lead guide explains how a click and a lead differ.
The Lead Generation page compares Lead Generation with two other formats that run in Techpresso. A Primary Ad buys the slot at the top of an issue at a fixed price (rates are in the media kit) and comes with a report listing the corporate domains that engaged (Primary Ad). A Lead Magnet is a calculator, quiz or analyzer built by Dupple and promoted in Techpresso, quoted per campaign, and each lead carries the answers the reader typed (Lead Magnet).
Limits
- Answers are self-reported and picked from fixed options. 5.4% of Technology respondents skipped job level and 9.8% skipped company size.
- Country is known for 78.6% of Technology respondents, so the other 21.4% are not in the base of the United States share. The quiz has no breakdown by newsletter, so any Techpresso-only reading would be a guess.
- Of the 7,225 Technology respondents who answered the AI question from 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026, 61.3% say they pay for AI tools, but targeting has no AI option, so the figure cannot aim an offer. Techpresso's AI statistics track AI news volume, not adoption.
- Technology is one quiz option, not a SaaS (software as a service) or security category. Clicks cover 30 days and the quiz 90, and the windows are never combined. The exact lead definition is not published, so ask us.

FAQ
Does the quiz show how many people read Techpresso?
No. The quiz has no breakdown by newsletter, so its counts cover respondents across all six Dupple newsletters, not Techpresso readers.
How many Technology decision-makers at 51+ companies chose Executive & Leadership?
1,220 of the 3,089 Technology decision-makers at 51+ companies, or 39.5% (1,220 / 3,089), chose Executive & Leadership between 5 Aug and 3 Nov 2026. These are quiz answers, not confirmed buyers.
Can I limit an offer to United States respondents who chose Technology?
Yes, with Country set to the United States in strict mode and Industry set to Technology. Those respondents clicked 5.0% of cards in the 30 days to 3 Nov 2026, against 9.1% outside the United States.
Is the work-email count a count of business addresses?
No. The 614 figure is an upper bound: 614 of 3,089 Technology decision-makers at 51+ companies (19.9%) carry a non-consumer email domain in the 90 days ending 3 Nov 2026, and a personal address at an unlisted provider can sit inside that count.
